Description
The present problem simulates the agricultural drone sprayer using ANSYS Fluent software. We perform this CFD project and investigate it by CFD analysis.
The present model is designed in three dimensions using the Design Modeler software.
Plane water storage is considered a water inlet, and the planned flight angle is 0 deg. The air entrance is the front side of the plane, all sides are pressure outlets, and the plane itself is a wall.
The meshing of the model was done using ANSYS Meshing software. The element number is equal to 464852.
Agricultural Drone Methodology
The system consists of two different fluids, air as the primary fluid and the secondary fluid as poison, with a density of 0.9512. The Eulerian multiphase model has been used to simulate the two phases of toxin and air.
The toxin is entering the domain with a velocity of 5m/s with gravity considered as -9.81 m/s-2 on the y-axis, and air velocity is 15 m/s. Moreover, the SST k-omega model has been used to solve turbulent fluid equations.
Agricultural Drone Conclusion
At the end of the solution process, two-dimensional velocity, air and water volume fraction, and animation are obtained. At first, Agricultural poison starts to drop from the plane cargo section, and as time passes, the dropping poison impacts airflow and finally reaches the ground and covers it.
