Quadcopter Aerodynamic Analysis and CFD Simulation in ANSYS Fluent
Beginner, Intermediate
Price: $319
In Quadcopter Aerodynamic Analysis, a numerical simulation was conducted to investigate the Dynamic Stability Derivatives of a quadcopter using ANSYS Fluent. A 3D symmetric geometry of the quadcopter was designed in SpaceClaim, capturing the essential aerodynamic features of the body and blades. The geometry was meshed using ANSYS Meshing, resulting in a high-quality grid with 3736312 elements. The simulation was performed in an unsteady (transient) framework to capture the time-dependent aerodynamic behavior. Mesh Motion techniques and User-Defined Functions (UDFs) were employed to define the rotational motion of the blades and the oscillatory motions of the quadcopter. This approach enabled the extraction of stability derivative data, providing insight into the dynamic response and control requirements of the quadcopter system.
Tilt-Rotor Drone CFD Simulation with Mesh Motion
Intermediate
Price: $108
This report presents the results of a CFD analysis performed on a tilt-rotor drone using ANSYS Fluent with mesh motion capabilities for the arms and propellers. The geometry of the Drone was created using ANSYS SpaceClaim software. A high-quality non-conformal un-structured mesh was generated using ANSYS Meshing software. Applied Mesh motion for both arms and propellers
Taxi Drone, Ansys Fluent Simulation
Intermediate
Price: $319
Taxi Drone Ansys Fluent Simulation involves using advanced CFD software to analyze the aerodynamic performance of urban air mobility vehicles The geometry of the taxi drone was designed using ANSYS SpaceClaim , The mesh was generated using ANSYS Meshing, resulting in a total of 2,829,977 elements The velocity inlet was set to 30 m/s with an angle of attack of 5 degrees. The rotational speed of the blades was configured with MRF method at 5000 RPM, with the upper and lower blades rotating in opposite directions.
Switchblade 300 (steady-state), Ansys Fluent CFD Simulation
Intermediate, Advanced
Price: $319
This study focuses on the aerodynamic analysis of the Switchblade 300 using ANSYS Fluent Two scenarios are simulated: one with the rear blade stationary and the other with the rear blade in motion. The geometry of the Switchblade was created using SpaceClaim software,The meshing was performed in Fluent Meshing, utilizing a polyhedral mesh with over 7,600,000 elements The Multiple Reference Frame (MRF) approach was employed to simulate the rotating rear blade at 5000 RPM.
