Fan: Beginner CFD Training Package is a ten-project introduction to fan and fan-driven ventilation simulation in ANSYS Fluent. Starting from fundamental fan aerodynamics and building through HVAC rooms, air-quality control, and safety-critical tunnel and subway ventilation, it gives newcomers a hands-on, application-driven foundation in the CFD techniques behind modern fan and ventilation engineering — one real engineering case at a time.

The final step in the series, this course covers the most demanding version of each project — high-speed and reacting flows, fluid-structure interaction, UDFs, and moving geometry — the kind of coupled, multi-physics problems most CFD engineers never get past. It's built for those who want to solve undefined, real-world problems and defend their results with confidence.

Building on the fundamentals, this course tackles harder, more realistic versions of the same 16 engineering fields and flow models, introducing multi-phase interactions, transient behavior, and more demanding boundary conditions. You'll leave with the skills to handle real project complexity, not just tutorial-scale problems.

This course takes you from zero to your first working simulations in ANSYS Fluent, covering foundational projects across 16 engineering fields — aerospace, biomedical, chemical, HVAC, marine, renewable energy, and more — alongside core flow models and Fluent modules. By the end, you'll be comfortable setting up, running, and interpreting basic CFD simulations on your own.

The fan geometry, consisting of six blades and three zones, was created in DesignModeler and meshed with an unstructured tetrahedral grid of about 3 million elements. Broadband noise sources were applied in ANSYS Fluent to evaluate the acoustic performance and sound power level distribution. The Multiple Reference Frame (MRF) approach was used to model the rotating zone at 3000 RPM under steady-state conditions. Results show high-pressure and velocity regions near the blade tips, leading to stronger acoustic power levels along the fan casing.

CFD project simulates airflow through an Air-Cooled Steam Condenser (ACSC) system using ANSYS Fluent software. geometry was modeled in ANSYS SpaceClaim and meshed using ANSYS Meshing with 5,534,281 elements. Two cases were analyzed: with and without windshields to study their effect on airflow and cooling performance. The simulation is pressure-based and uses the realizable k-epsilon turbulence model.

The problem numerically simulates the performance of single-phase immersion cooling using ANSYS Fluent software. We design the 3-D model by the Space claim software. We Mesh the model by ANSYS Meshing software, and the element number equals1,591,373.. We perform this simulation as unsteady (Transient). We use the VOF Multi-Phase model to define Mass Transfer in the form of Evaporation-Condensation.

In this project, we have simulated performance of a Bladeless Fan using ANSYS Fluent software. Three-dimensional modeling was done using Design Modeler software. The meshing of the model has been done using ANSYS Meshing software and the element number equals 1,927,707. The standard k-epsilon model is used to simulate the turbulence of the flow.
