Reactors with risers. This resulted in successfully modeling the FCC reaction-regeneration system in a single CFD example The 3D virtual full-loop CFD simulation provided a detailed and comprehensive perspective of the reaction regeneration system's performance The gas-solid interactions inside the FCC regenerator can be simulated using the Eulerian-Eulerian method The solid phase was treated using the Eulerian granular flow model The species transport model was implemented to monitor several chemical species
Particle Stickiness in a Bend Pipe CFD Simulation
Intermediate, Advanced
Price: $10
This report presents a simulation of the particle stickiness in a bend pipe using Discrete Phase Method (DPM). The geometry of the bend pipe was created using ANSYS SpaceClaim software. A high-quality mesh of 1,664,000 hexahedral elements was generated using ANSYS Meshing software. Appropriate DPM settings were applied and the particle accretion rate was calculated on the bend pipe wall.
Coal Gasification in Bubbling Fluidized Bed (BFB) Gasifier CFD Simulation
Intermediate, Advanced
Price: $120
In this project, we are simulating the bubbling fluidized bed (BFB), a type of fluidized bed reactor where solid particles are suspended and agitated by the upward flow of gas The design and operation of BFBs allow for better control of temperature and reaction conditions, leading to improved efficiency and product quality in industrial processes The 2D geometry of the BFB is designed using Design Modeler software. Then, it is meshed in ANSYS Meshing. In total 26800 cells are generated. To model BFB, two Eulerian phases are defined by the Eulerian multiphase model.

This study presents a CFD analysis of a Multi-point Liquid Distributor for packed columns using ANSYS Fluent. We designed the 3-D symmetry model using the ANSYS Design Modeler We mesh the model with ANSYS Meshing software, and the element number equals 783,039. The Volume of Fluid (VOF) model was utilized to simulate the multiphase flow of water and air. A steady-state, pressure-based solver was employed for the simulation.

Price: $16
This report details a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation of a furnace using ANSYS Fluent. The study investigates combustion processes, species transport, and NOx production to optimize furnace design and reduce emissions. The simulation employs a steady-state, pressure-based solver with the Realizable k-epsilon turbulence model. Results include density stratification, species distribution, temperature gradients, and flow patterns, providing valuable insights into combustion dynamics and pollutant formation within the furnace.
Sand Particle Sedimentation CFD Analysis
Intermediate, Advanced
Price: $30
The study conducts a CFD analysis of sand particle sedimentation using ANSYS Fluent software. We design the cylindrical geometry using ANSYS Design Modeler. We mesh the model using ANSYS Meshing software, resulting in 388,797 hexahedral elements. We use the Eulerian multiphase model to simulate three different sizes of sand particles (small, medium, and large) interacting with the fluid phase. We aim to predict the sedimentation patterns and particle distribution for different sand sizes, analyzing density, pressure, and volume fraction contours.
Venturi Nozzle Multiphase Flow Analysis
Intermediate
Price: $10
The problem numerically simulates multiphase flow in a venturi nozzle using ANSYS Fluent software. The geometry is designed in ANSYS Design Modeler and ANSYS Meshing is used to generate a mesh with 829,367 cells. The Volume of Fluid (VOF) multiphase model is employed to handle the interaction between air and water phases. The Realizable k-epsilon turbulence model with Enhanced Wall Treatment is used to simulate turbulent flow. Results are analyzed for air volume fraction, pressure distribution, and velocity patterns throughout the venturi turbine geometry.
CH4 and H2 Mixing in T-junction and Y-junction CFD Simulation
Beginner, Intermediate
Price: $14
This study examines CH4 and H2 mixing in T-junction and Y-junction configurations using CFD analysis in ANSYS Fluent. The geometry was created in ANSYS Design Modeler and meshed with ANSYS Meshing, resulting in a high-quality mesh of 2,484,831 quadrilateral elements. The simulation utilizes the Standard k-ε turbulence model and Species Transport model for mixing. An isothermal mixing process is considered without chemical reactions. The analysis compares mixing efficiency, velocity profiles, pressure distributions, and species concentrations between T-junction and Y-junction designs.
