This project investigates the crystallization of Loratadine in a dual-inlet nozzle using the Population Balance Model (PBM) in ANSYS Fluent. The study focuses on the effects of mixing and flow dynamics on nucleation and crystal growth. A tetrahedral mesh with 506,677 cells was used for accurate flow and particle tracking. A User-Defined Function (UDF) defined the kinetics of crystal formation based on local conditions. The results show realistic particle size distribution and effective prediction of crystallization behavior.

PBM with CFD Simulation of FeNi Nanoparticle Synthesis is performed using ANSYS Fluent . A Multiphase Eulerian approach is applied with FeNi alloy represented in the secondary phase. Powder precursors (FeCl₂ and NiCl₂) are injected into the domain using the Discrete Phase Model (DPM). The Species Transport Model with finite-rate Arrhenius kinetics is used to simulate the reduction reactions. User-Defined Functions (UDFs) implement nucleation, growth, and agglomeration phenomena for nanoparticle prediction.

This project numerically simulates the Population Balanced Model Crystallization using ANSYS Fluent software. The 2-D geometry is designed in Design Modeler software. We used ANSYS Meshing Software to generate mesh; the element number equals 89,244. The multiphase Eulerian multiphase model simulates the mixture (water liquid, Ca, and CO3 ions) and Calcium-Carbonate. The crystallization modeling through PBM is also considered.

This project numerically simulates the Air Bubble PBM using ANSYS Fluent software. The 2-D geometry is designed in Design Modeler software. We used ANSYS Meshing Software to generate mesh; the element number equals 23,982. The multiphase Eulerian multiphase model simulates the two-phase flow of water and air. The population balance model also enables simulating bubble dynamics and interactions. Aggregation and Breakage kernels were activated, and the Luo model was used for both kernels. The mixture method for the turbulence interactions of the phases is activated.

The problem numerically simulates Population Balance Model (PBM) for Nucleation using ANSYS Fluent software. We design the 3-D model by the Design Modeler software. We Mesh the model by ANSYS Meshing software, and the element number equals 112077. We use the Species Transport model to define a mixture of water, calcium, and oxalate as the initial phase. We use the Eulerian Multiphase model to define a two-phase flow, in which the secondary phase is calcium-oxalate, resulting from a chemical reaction. We use The population balance model (PBM) to study produced particles' behavior and predict the density or population of particles in specific sizes. We use a UDF function to define the nucleation and growth rates in PBM analysis.
