Advance your chemical reactions CFD skills with this 10-project ANSYS Fluent training package — covering core combustion reaction modeling approaches, particle and spray-based combustion, and radiation-coupled combustion.
Price: $59
Build intermediate-level expertise in chemical reaction and combustion CFD with this 10-project ANSYS Fluent training package — covering core premixed and non-premixed combustion models, specialized reacting environments, applied industrial combustion, and advanced high-speed and electrohydrodynamic-coupled combustion physics.
Price: $29
Chemical Reactions: Beginner CFD Training Package is a ten-project introduction to reacting-flow and combustion simulation in ANSYS Fluent. Starting from basic non-premixed combustion and building through defined reaction mechanisms, furnace and chamber geometries, industrial reforming and decomposition processes, and applied fire-safety cases, it gives newcomers a hands-on, application-driven foundation in the CFD techniques behind modern combustion and process engineering — one real engineering case at a time.
Price: $49
The final step in the series, this course covers the most demanding version of each project — high-speed and reacting flows, fluid-structure interaction, UDFs, and moving geometry — the kind of coupled, multi-physics problems most CFD engineers never get past. It's built for those who want to solve undefined, real-world problems and defend their results with confidence.
Build Real-World CFD Skills with ANSYS Fluent
Intermediate
Price: $29
Building on the fundamentals, this course tackles harder, more realistic versions of the same 16 engineering fields and flow models, introducing multi-phase interactions, transient behavior, and more demanding boundary conditions. You'll leave with the skills to handle real project complexity, not just tutorial-scale problems.
Price: $9
This course takes you from zero to your first working simulations in ANSYS Fluent, covering foundational projects across 16 engineering fields — aerospace, biomedical, chemical, HVAC, marine, renewable energy, and more — alongside core flow models and Fluent modules. By the end, you'll be comfortable setting up, running, and interpreting basic CFD simulations on your own.

This report presents a simulation which investigates the catalytic combustion of methane in a micro-pipe reactor. A CHEMKIN file was created to define detailed wall surface reactions based on the reactions reported by Deutschmann (1996). The geometry of the micro-reactor was created using ANSYS SpaceClaim software. A high-quality hexahedral elements mesh was generated using ANSYS Meshing software. Appropriate species transport settings and boundary conditions were applied to correctly simulate the volumetric and wall surface reactions.

This report presents the simulation of a reactive multiphase system incorporating heterogeneous Fischer-Tropsch synthesis reactions in a porous medium An iron (Fe) catalyst catalyzes the reactions, and the reaction rates are determined using Arrhenius kinetics. The Eulerian multiphase model is employed to investigate the interaction between different phases A Lee mass transfer model is applied for the phase change of water between liquid and gaseous states. A 2D geometry was created using SpaceClaim and The domain was meshed in ANSYS Meshing, using a structured mesh with 105,000 structured elements.

This product numerically simulates the Steam Methane Reforming (SMR) using ANSYS Fluent software. We design the 3-D model using the Design Modeler software. We mesh the model with ANSYS Meshing software; the element numbers are 1651814. We use the Species Transport model to define the chemical reactions.
