Conical Solar Collector CFD Simulation, ANSYS Fluent
Beginner, Intermediate
Price: $24
In this project, heat transfer in a conical solar collector was simulated using ANSYS Fluent. The geometry was created in SpaceClaim, and a mesh consisting of 2,948,101 elements was generated using ANSYS Meshing. The Discrete Ordinates (DO) model was chosen to simulate radiation (solar ray tracing model).

Price: $24
The problem numerically simulates the Office Ventilation and heating by Solar Radiation using ANSYS Fluent software. We design the 3-D model by the Design Modeler software. We Mesh the model by ANSYS Meshing software, and the element number equals 309156. We define Energy Sources for each object inside the office to define the heat emitted from them. We consider Radiation and Convection heat transfer.

Intermediate, Advanced
Price: $260
The problem numerically simulates the biomass combustion process inside a gasifier chamber using ANSYS Fluent software. We design the 2-D model by the Gambit software. We Mesh the model by Gambit software, and the element number equals 1108. We use the DPM model to define spraying the fuel in the chamber as discrete particles. We define Non-Premixed Combustion in the Species model. We use the P1 Radiation model to define radiant heat energy from the flames.

The present problem simulates the gasification process inside a gasifier chamber by ANSYS Fluent. The present 3-D model is designed using Design Modeler software. The meshing of the model has been done using ANSYS Meshing software. The element number is 219170. Water vapor is created by the process of evaporation of water droplets inside the chamber by applying DPM. The species transport model with volumetric reactions has been used and to define the type of reactants and the process of chemical reactions. The CHEMKIN mechanism has been used, which includes 5 chemical reactions involving 8 different types of reactants and products. This model also assumes that Radiation heat transfer due to chemical reactions occurs inside the gasifier chamber, and hence, the P1 model is defined for simulation.
