The problem numerically simulates a Rotary Heat Exchanger, Effect of Mass Flow Rate on heat transfer coefficient in ANSYS Fluent software. The 2D geometry of the model is created in Design Modeler software. The model is meshed in ANSYS Meshing creating 86,598 elements. The Standard k-epsilon model is used to describe turbulency of the flow.

The present problem simulates the aeroacoustics and sound generation by a water flow inside a Francis Turbine using ANSYS Fluent software. We have designed the geometry using ANSYS Design Modeler software and created the mesh on this geometry using ANSYS Meshing software. The mesh type is unstructured with 4,914,404cells. We use the Frame Motion (MRF) to define rotation movement. The Broadband Noise Sources model is also used to define the acoustic model

The current CFD Analysis models the Bulb Turbine via ANSYS Fluent software. We have designed the geometry using ANSYS Design Modeler software and generated the mesh on this geometry using ANSYS Meshing software. The Frame Motion technique is utilized to model the rotation of the turbine. The Discrete Phase Model (DPM) account for the presence of sand particles. The Erosion on the turbine, due to particle collision is investigated.

The problem numerically simulates Slurry Flow in Centrifugal Pump using ANSYS Fluent software. We design the 3-D model with the Design Modeler software. We Mesh the model with ANSYS Meshing software, and the polyhedra element number equals 1,498,132. We use the Frame Motion to define the rotational movement in the rotating zone. The DPM multiphase is activated to model the effect of solid particles on erosion. The activated erosion models are Generic, Finnie, McLaury, Oka, and DNV.

In this project, a flow around a Contra-Rotating Turbine has been simulated, and the results of this simulation have been investigated. This ANSYS Fluent CFD training simulates a contra-rotating VAWT turbine with two blade rows rotating oppositely at 14.7 rad/s. Inlet velocity is 5.3 m/s; mesh motion defines rotations using k-epsilon model and steady pressure-based solver. Results show enhanced pressure/velocity between blades, doubling torque (~1.9 N.m per row) for better power.

The problem numerically simulates a Multi-Stage Axial Compressor using ANSYS Fluent software. We design the 3-D model with the ANSYS Blade Gen. The meshing of the present model has been generated by TurboGrid software and the total cell number is 11,430 elements. The compressor motion has been modeled with the MRF method. The Turbo Workflow module was used to model the Compressor.
