Steam Methane Reforming, SMR, ANSYS Fluent CFD Simulation
Beginner, Intermediate
Price: $24
This product numerically simulates the Steam Methane Reforming (SMR) using ANSYS Fluent software. We design the 3-D model using the Design Modeler software. We mesh the model with ANSYS Meshing software; the element numbers are 1651814. We use the Species Transport model to define the chemical reactions.
Ammonia Decomposition in a Micro-Reactor, CFD Simulation
Intermediate, Advanced
Price: $14
This report presents a simulation which investigates the production of hydrogen gas from ammonia, using the heat of the propane-air reaction. The ammonia conversion rate and the overall system efficiency were calculated. The geometry of the ammonia decomposition micro-combustor was created using ANSYS SpaceClaim software. A high-quality tetrahedron elements mesh was generated using ANSYS Meshing software. Appropriate species transport settings and boundary conditions were applied to correctly simulate the rate of ammonia decomposition.
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD): Introduction
Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
Price: Free
This is the first session of a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) course, focusing on equations and numerical methods for discretization and solving them in detail. The course is designed by the Mister CFD team to help students and engineers understand the numerical techniques used in software like Ansys Fluent, rather than focusing on fundamental coding. It introduces CFD as a method for solving nonlinear partial differential equations (Navier-Stokes equations) through numerical techniques, since general analytical solutions aren’t available. The document covers three main numerical methods: Finite Difference Method (FDM), Finite Volume Method (FVM), and Finite Element Method (FEM), with their advantages and limitations. It explains different types of Partial Differential Equations (PDEs) including their classifications based on order, linearity, and behavior (Elliptic, Parabolic, and Hyperbolic). The content concludes with detailed explanations of conservation equations, numerical errors in CFD, and the importance of Taylor series in discretization processes.

We numerically simulate the Water Hyacinth Gasification process using ANSYS Fluent. We model using Design Modeler software and mesh using ANSYS Meshing software. We use the Discrete Phase Model (DPM) to define the fuel injection. We use the Species Transport model to define the chemical reactions. We use the P1 Radiation model to define radiative heat transfer.
Trapped Vortex Combustor, CFD Simulation
Intermediate
Price: $16
This report presents a simulation examining the difference in thermal efficiency between a conventional combustor and an AVC. The formation of NOx and its emission in these two combustion chambers have been compared. The geometry of the AVC and the conventional combustor was created using ANSYS SpaceClaim software. A high-quality hexahedral elements mesh was generated using ANSYS Meshing software. Appropriate species transport and NOx settings were applied and the thermal efficiency of the combustors and the NOx ppm was calculated.
FCC Regenerator for Coke Combustion, Ansys Fluent CFD
Intermediate, Advanced
Price: $22
Reactors with risers. This resulted in successfully modeling the FCC reaction-regeneration system in a single CFD example The 3D virtual full-loop CFD simulation provided a detailed and comprehensive perspective of the reaction regeneration system's performance The gas-solid interactions inside the FCC regenerator can be simulated using the Eulerian-Eulerian method The solid phase was treated using the Eulerian granular flow model The species transport model was implemented to monitor several chemical species
Domestic gas burner for reacting flow using LPG as fuel
Beginner, Intermediate
Price: $14
This report presents a simulation of the domestic burning gas fed by LPG-air using ANSYS Fluent software. The geometry of the domestic burning gas was created using solidworks software. A high-quality mesh of about 316,680 hexahedron elements was generated using ANSYS Meshing software. Appropriate species transport settings and turbulence-chemistry interaction model were applied.
Price: $200
In this comprehensive study, three distinct cases were investigated to analyze the effectiveness of spray cooling approaches utilizing ANSYS Fluent software. The simulation setup began with the creation of detailed geometry using SpaceClaim, followed by the generation of a high-quality quadrilateral mesh in ANSYS Meshing. Three simulation cases were compared: baseline airflow only (Case 1), water injection with inert particles (Case 2), and water injection with droplet interactions and phase change A two-way coupling approach was employed in the DPM configurations to capture the complete interaction between the discrete phase and the continuous flow field.
Coal Gasification in Bubbling Fluidized Bed (BFB) Gasifier CFD Simulation
Intermediate, Advanced
Price: $120
In this project, we are simulating the bubbling fluidized bed (BFB), a type of fluidized bed reactor where solid particles are suspended and agitated by the upward flow of gas The design and operation of BFBs allow for better control of temperature and reaction conditions, leading to improved efficiency and product quality in industrial processes The 2D geometry of the BFB is designed using Design Modeler software. Then, it is meshed in ANSYS Meshing. In total 26800 cells are generated. To model BFB, two Eulerian phases are defined by the Eulerian multiphase model.
